At Country Day we look toward the future. In the past few years, many colleges have moved to online learning. We are aware of the fact that the educational process has changed and will continue to evolve into a classroom that is far different from the classroom of just a few years ago. We are one of five independent school in the country that uses the virtual classroom through a partnership with Stanford University through the Malone Schools Online Network, which offers college-level courses to our Upper School students. Our students are engaged in real-time learning with students from all over the country. As a result, we have increased our Upper School curriculum by 10 classes at no increase in costs to our families.
Our students are of a national caliber. They earn the highest SAT scores in the region, possess an exceptional record on Advanced Placement examinations, earn National Merit recognition, and are accepted into the finest colleges and universities in the country. Fort Worth Country Day students excel in the arts and are champions on the athletic fields. But our students are so much more than this. Country Day students care about their community and their peers as much as they care about education. Being a good person is more important than getting good grades. Our distinguished faculty works every day to make sure our students have a strong moral compass.
Fort Worth Country Day is a community. You feel it when you visit our 104-acre campus. I encourage you to drive through our park-like campus and experience the serenity that our beautiful surroundings provide. Take a personal tour with our admission director, meet the division heads, visit a classroom, talk to some of our students. You will feel this same warmth come alive.
One of the best things about working at Fort Worth Country Day is knowing that what we do here every day makes a difference. Our children find themselves in a place where learning is fun and where people care far more about them as people than a number or a grade. At Fort Worth Country Day, exploring the future is rewarding and exciting.
